Beautiful. Yes.

A (domestic) warrior’s protection, perhaps, of metal, strong yet gossamer. I am not an apron wearer, so how do I accomplish such a thought? Begin with what I know. Exaggeration, impracticality, duality and labor, metaphor, time, memory, nostalgia.

Stainless on one layer, bronze and oxidized on the other. Belted in forged steel, trimmed with stiffened lace. Shrouded, veiled, concealed, uncomfortable draped over-abundance moving the direction of entrapment, entanglement. Seriously frivolous, slightly messy. Beautiful. Yes.
