Hook Stitch Miles

What do you do with six pounds of steel wire and time on your hands? I don’t always know what to make, but I know how to begin--at the beginning. The formula involves a simple hook and a chain stitch; go on for hours and hours, days and days, for miles and miles. Then disguise the process: pull out a glove, squash and smooth it all out, bring it together like a pony tail, twist it, and then make some knots and some hooks, and add them so it looks like art.
